Apple claimed that the sustained brightness is 1000 nits and the peak brightness is 1600 nits when playing only HDR videos.

Fusion effects also played without a hitch and the export was really quick. We would say it was at least 20 percent better than the previous M1 Pro chip.

Aside from the enormous performance, the MacBook Pro 16″ M2 Pro also delivers impressive battery life on daily usage. Apple claims that it can last up to a whopping 22 hours just from a single charge.

We have not fully out-drained the battery but we have not faced an issue regarding the battery backup. It easily lasted our full day of work which includes browsing, streaming, and editing videos. Plus, the fact that it comes with a 140 watts fast charging adapter is really bliss!

Slight improvement in the clarity of the webcam image

Like last year the MacBook Pro 16″ M2 Pro also comes with a 1080p FaceTime camera. Though the resolution did not bump up the advanced image signal processor from M2 Pro slightly improved the clarity of the image.

We have attended tons of video conferences with the new MacBook Pro 16″ M2 Pro and were fully satisfied regarding the webcam and microphone quality.

Has anything else changed?
